Accreditation Process and Fees

Determination of Eligibility

To be eligible for consideration for accreditation, an institution or entity must satisfy the minimum requirements as specified in the application forms.

Initial Application

IADCS is committed to collaborating with the institution in effecting a smooth and deliberate path toward meeting criteria and attaining an accreditation status.

Initial Resource Visit

  • (Fees quoted are for U.S. Institutions only. Fees will be prorated for other countries as per the rate of conversion)
  • Following the acceptance of the ILI, including the assessment of the institution’s financial stability, an IADCS staff member will conduct an Initial Resource Visit.

Pre-candidate status

Based on the report by the IADCS staff during the Initial Resource Visit, the institution will be eligible to achieve a pre-candidate accreditation status.

Application for full accreditation status submitting the Self-Study

  • (Fees quoted are for U.S. Institutions only. Fees will be prorated for other countries as per the rate of conversion)
  • The self-study is the most important part of the process of accreditation and must be considered a major effort of the institution. It is not an endeavor that can be completed hastily. It requires time and careful planning. The self-study provides the institution with the opportunity to engage in a comprehensive analysis of all aspects of its operation. Essentially, the self-evaluation process forms the basis for the improvement of the educational effectiveness of the institution.

Full accreditation visit

  • (Fees quoted are for U.S. Institutions only. Fees will be prorated for other countries as per the rate of conversion)
  • Following the approval of the self-study, the IADCS will send a team of minimum two, or maximum five, experts for a site visit. The institution will be notified of the composition of the visiting team and may request that any team member be replaced for cause. The visiting team of experts will submit full report to the Board of Directors of IADCS.
